I talked to a few different solar cleaning companies and PJ Solar seemed the most knowledgeable and Explained The right and wrong way to maintain your solar panels definitely a good price And worth the end result after they are done. If you have any questions He will definitely answer them. and also shows you the work on his YouTube channel. PJ Solar

It was a good experience from setting the appointment to completing the job. Lance arrived on time and needed very little from me. I loved that he took photos before and after the job. He even pointed out some gutter problem(not even part of what they do). Lance was friendly and professional. I would recommend this company!

David D.

I was definitely researching a few different solar panel companies and I felt like the personality and explanation of what he was gonna do and correct way to care for panels made me understand what not to do. I looked at work after he was done and had him add me to list of return customers. I highly recommend PJ Solar and positive you won’t be disappointed.

Look Here. This man Pj and his team are so fast and smooth with it. I can see the clouds off the panels. Very informative consultation was had not just on the services provided but the maintaining of clean panels as well. Communication with Pj Solar Cleaning were always met with a prompted response. Pj and his team came immediately the following business day and knocked it out the park. A 10 out of 10 Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I originally got a critter guard done by this company. I didn’t read my contract carefully and missed a key point that validates my warranty. Even though I didn’t fulfill my obligation to keep my warranty they came out and fixed my bird netting. I really recommend this company! Great service!

So glad I finally got this done! I talked to him yesterday and they came out and got started early this morning. I am excited for this new day to not hear 10+ birds cooing and moving around under my panels. You could see the nests and piles of bird poop from the front, and now it's all cleaned up and looking great! The PJ Solar crew did an awesome job!

Christhian Christopher

PJ and his team did an amazing job. We have not had to pay SCE since we moved in, we also never thought about how important it is to take care of the solar panels on the roof until we received our first bill from SCE this month. Now we are looking forward to seeing how a small investment will help us continue to save on our energy bill. The roof and Solar panels look 1000s times better.

Great Solar Panel Cleaners! The family that runs the business was helpful and their son was very respectful. I highly recommend!

They make my solar panels look brand new again. They’re always here whenever I call them. They make it a point to come rapidly. I can’t believe the service I get from Pj Solor Clean. They are such nice people and I would recommend them to anybody. Thank you, Jim.

I have a 2 story house with solar panels on both levels. Underneath these panels I had been dealing with a pigeon infestation. I couldn’t enjoy my own patio with all the pigeon waste. Today, that all changed. What a great crew. They worked so hard in the blistering sun. A thorough cleaning and sanitizing job left my roof and solar panels looking brand new! They installed a mesh, specifically made for a spanish tile roof, underneath the solar panels and as an added deterrent, installed spikes on the ridge. I have heard nothing but glorious silence coming from my roof all day. Thank you for giving me back the use of my back patio! Highly recommend. I wouldn’t use anyone else. See you guys at my next solar panel cleaning!

I've owned my solar panels for 15 years with Esmay Electric, and just started having pigeon problems living on the golf coarse. PJ SOLAR did an exceptional job today bird proofing my panels. Three other companies wouldn't even provide an estimate because of the difficulty of installation--being to near the edge of the rooftop. Thank you PJ SOLAR!

PJ knows his stuff. He responded quickly, explained process in great detail, understood I needed the matter addressed quickly….. and got it done right! Uses quality products, he and his crew worked effectively making sure everything got done in a timely manner, and everything looked beautiful!
My old solar panel cleaner just lost a client. I’m so glad I found you PJ, thank you!

Brenda D

I found PJ through Thumbtack after reaching out to two companies for pigeon proofing and solar panel cleaning. PJ called me within minutes of submitting my request. I had a roof leak and urgently needed the pigeons evicted and the mess they left behind cleaned up. He immediately recognized it as an emergency and wanted to get it taken care of before the next rain.
He came out that Thursday and did an amazing job—thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the area, pigeon-proofing the roof, installing spikes, and cleaning our solar panels. His attention to detail and genuine care really stood out.
I would recommend PJ in a heartbeat. He truly cares, and it shows. Thank you, PJ!

I had a great experience with PJ’s Solar. PJ is easy to work with, communicates well, and is very professional. First, I had my solar panels cleaned by his company. After that, he secured my solar panels to prevent pigeons from getting underneath, and I haven’t had a pigeon problem since. I recently had another panel wash done, and once again I’m very satisfied with his service. I definitely recommend PJ’s Solar. Thank you so much, PJ!

PJ was amazing! He was quick at coming over to give us a quote and complete the job. He identified we were at the beginning of an issue and it was the appropriate time to act. He also identified 2 of our neighbors that had an issue with pigeons and if they got theirs done the pigeons will find a new area. We are pleased to have the pigeon situation remedied, not to mention sparkling clean panels which will increase our panel efficiency. Thanks PJ!

If you want top-quality work at a fair price, I highly recommend them and will definitely be using their services again for future solar panel cleanings.

I submitted a job to this guy along wih 3 others via thumbtack then he calls me immediately complaining that I did it the wrong way and that I should not submit the job to multiple businesses (which is what thumbtack suggests) because it charged them all $23 which I did not know. He then goes on a 6 min rant about how hes the best and everyone is charging cheaper prices but no one should hire anyone but him. I couldnt even get a word in then when I finally was able to tell him i didnt want to hire him, he hung up in my face. Poor customer service

Excellent work. Our roof was very dirty and the panels were in need of a good cleaning. Afterwards they were cleaned, safeguarded and left us feeling better. Thank you for the cleaning. See you soon for the next cleaning.

Just had PJ and the boys out here bird proofing and cleaning my panels. Really happy with the results. I’ve had these panels now for 3 years and birds started nesting under them almost immediately. It became a really big problem with pool maintenance and cleaning overall.

I tried to do some work on the roof to scare the birds away but nothing worked. PJ hooked me up with a free estimate and I was able to see his work in the videos he shares online and knew he was the man for the job. And man do the results speak for themselves.

Roof is completely clean and no where for the birds to hide now.

Art essayan

I had hired PJ in his crew to put bird-spikes on my roof a year ago. Initially they were quick and responsive, but in less than a year, the spikes began to fall off and started falling all over my backyard. I contacted PJ Solar regarding the spikes and was advised he and his crew would come back and correct this problem. True to his word he ended up coming in and got the spikes fixed. Winds are a pain when it comes keeping these on but that's what you get when you live in the high desert

PJ and his team were ultra-professional and courteous. He took my advice on how best to access the roof and water for my solar panel cleaning. He shared details on the importance of cleaning as well explained his equipment. He uses a portable De-Ionized water filter for a spot free finish (a must). I will be using him again and I highly recommend him to anyone in the area.

Lloyd Mulligan

PJ and his crew did an amazing and professional job of cleaning up my massive pigeon nesting disaster. I estimate at least 600lbs of "stuff" was removed from under my solar panels. PJ and crew had the technical expertise to lift numerous panels to insure a thorough cleaning. PJ uses the highest quality bird proofing materials and not cheap junk from Amazon. Installation was flawless. He provided a 5 year guarantee. The finishing touch was a superb panel cleaning which made my 10 year old panels shine like brand new - thanks PJ!

I had PJ clean my solar panels after the Line Fire in East Highland back in September left them covered in ash and debris. I noticed a significant drop in energy production and wanted to get ahead of it before spring and summer. PJ was prompt, professional, and extremely courteous—just like the first time I used his services. He takes his work seriously and operates with integrity, which I truly appreciate. Uninvited Guests; they show up unannounced and worse yet, don’t know when to leave. And so it was regarding the pigeon infestation that recently invaded our roof-mounted solar panels. After contacting our solar installer to solicit advise, they recommended Deshawn. Boy do I owe them a debt of gratitude! After receiving the details of our solar array (from our installer), Deshawn (a.k.a. PJ) promptly and professionally assembled a detailed quote for recommended services. He contacted me by phone to introduce himself and e-mailed his quote for my review; how refreshing. On the day of scheduled services he arrived on time, introduced himself and walked the job site with me to explain what would be done then got to work. After a very thorough removal of pigeon debris left beneath our panels, the Bird-B-Gone mesh barrier panels and roof-peak spikes I ordered were installed. A thorough clean-up of our job site was the finishing touch, leaving a very positive impression of a job well done. If you find yourself plagued with a similar unwanted bird infestation, considering PJ’s services would be a wise decision. I would, without hesitation, highly recommend him!

PJ and his team did a phenomenal job cleaning my solar panels and installing bird barrier. They were professional, responsive, on-time, and I am thrilled with the quality of their work. My installation was a little tricky due to the type of panels that I have (Tesla panels come with a skirt around the sides) and due to the curved nature of my Spanish roof tiles. PJ made quick work of the job nonetheless, and it looks fantastic. They were a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend them.

Justin Wall

Does amazing work with great communication. The only solar panel cleaning company I’ll use.

Samantha Zuniga

Recently got bird netting for our new solar panels from PJ & the bird netting was put on perfectly! I highly recommend PJ bird netting if you want a great job done and fast!

Steven From Winnetka

I have used PJ Solar Cleaning twice, so far, and they do a great job at a reasonable price.

I have a two-story house with 20 panels on the roof. I am unable to do the job myself and looked around at different companies before hiring them the first time. When it came to cleaning the panels again, I didn’t even bother to price compare. I just called PJ, confirmed the price and scheduled service. Esteban showed up as expected and took care of everything.

Pamela Harris

Absolutely a joy to have your services. Always on time and an expert job, well done. Thank you

We have used PJ Solar Cleaning on a couple of occasions. The employees did a great job and handled themselves in a very professional manner. We will use them again in the future.

Jerry Williams

Very Professional and did great work

Christine Geary

One objective measure of an excellent company is whether you would hire them again. Deshawn and his team did outstanding, professional work when I installed my panels 7-8 years ago, cleaning and pigeon-proofing them. I thought I had pigeons in my attic; they were so loud in my waking hours! Deshawn assured me the pigeons were nesting between the panels and the roof, not in my attic. After the work was completed, no more birds were overhead.

I'm now in the middle of a roof replacement, and I was so pleased with PJ Solar Cleaning & Bird Proofing the first time that I hired them again for when my panels are reinstalled next month!

Jerry W.

PJ's was able to come out the day after I contacted them. Did a great job. This is my second time using them and will use them again.

Heather Ongsioco

I’ve had this company come out and do bird proofing for me twice since I’ve moved in to my house because that’s how GREAT their work is! Aside from bird proofing my panels, they also cleaned and disinfected my roof of all the nests and poop. They also cleaned my yard of the poop and solar panel dirt. Ive tried other solar panel cleaning services because they were cheaper but their work is not at all as good as PJ Solar Cleaning. I recommended them to my neighbor and he was happy with their work as well. This company is very communicative and straight to the point. Give them a call. You won’t be disappointed .

John Woicek

Easy to work with, curtious, shows up on time. Would work with them again

Imani Anderson

Arrived on time explain what they would be doing, and what solution they would be using.Texed me before during and after pictures. Cash Payment given and recipe sent via tex. Yes I will call PJ's company again to clean my panels

Charlie Brugnola

January of 2011 time period I purchased Solar. At first I would get on my roof with my hose to clean my panels.
Then I met Deshawn he educated me on cleaning my panels for improved production. So I started having his company clean my panels every 6 to 9 months. The water is special, it leaves it clean sparkling clean without streaks.
But the best thing is knowing my panels can utilize energy production.
I’m grateful to have met this young man.
I have been so happy with his company , I let him know I need cleaning he keeps me informed
They text me The date and time . Video of before and than afterwards .i apple pay
So easy making all the energy I can
What a great company ! All the employees are great!

Purchased my solar panels back in 2017. Had the pleasure of meeting PJ at the Ontario Home Show. The rest is history. He and his company have done a great job since day one and I continue to use his service and recommend his company to others. They are always on time and do exactly what they advertise. Very happy with their service and fees. Thank you PJ.

They did a great job and the price was fair. I would say it was well worth the money spent. The service was excellent, especially the 5-year warranty which was my favorite. I highly recommend this company's products and services.

Our community has been using this company for the past 3 years. Last week, PJ and his team cleaned the solar panels on 19 homes in our neighborhood. We will continue to use this company for years to come. Definitely recommend.

PJ and team did an excellent job cleaning and bird proofing my solar panels!

Jesse E

I’ve had a pigeon problem for some months after moving into a home with a solar panel system and I had PJ come take a look. After an initial inspection he sent me videos of some nests underneath the panels as well as how dirty my panels were. I immediately gave him the go ahead to clean my panels / bird proof them and I couldn’t be happier. He also installed bird spikes on both sides of my house where I had constant bird droppings on my cement. PJ’s transparency and professionalism are reasons why I’ll use his services in the future.

Patrick S.

Prompt, friendly, and thorough. The panels look great! PJ solar, you will be getting my business again!👍🏻

Will Farish

Christina Thompson-Arce

I’ve been using PJ SOLAR for a few years now and I highly recommend them. PJ is very passionate about his business and takes pride in doing excellent work. He is honest and very hard working. KP

PJ Solar is wonderful! I actually had to hire PJ twice. The first time was about 6 years ago, when we were having a major pigeon-problem. The 2nd time was just recent, after my lessor solar-company had to replace some broken panels, didn't put the critter-guard back properly and pigeons were finding their way back under my panels again, gross! I hired PJ to come back to fix/replace all the critter-guard the solar-company screwed up. Both times, PJ and his crew did an amazing job, including cleaning up everything. PJ is a really nice, friendly guy. Hard-working. We surely appreciate everything he has done for us! I would recommend him to everyone who needs bird-proofing done. Since originally bird-proofing my house 6 years ago, my backyard has been beautiful and clean, without pigeon crap everywhere; I don't have to worry about my kids or dogs stepping in it! Worth every penny. Hire PJ. You won't regret it.

PJ Solar

PJ Solar Panel Cleaning company not only cleaned our solar panels but pigeon proofed our roof with critter guard, spikes, disinfected all areas, and power washed our patio. Wow talk about clean!!!

Warning! Unbeknownst to us was the fact that our pigeon pair had found a five star hotel under our panels!! Lets face it, its warm, cozy, and protects their babies and them from the elements. Disclaimer, I don't “hate” pigeons they are very helpful to mankind (delivering messages during World War ll), but they were making a big mess on our roof, under our panels, and in our driveway. They needed to find a new home!

PJ and Junior from PJ Solar Cleaning came highly recommended and they didn't disappoint. We appreciate them very much and thankful there were no dead birds found, only the nest and lots and lots of “personal belongings” and you know what I mean by that! Please kindly contact them for your pigeon protection and Solar Panel Cleaning. Stay safe, blessed, and be well.

Esther Lau

PJ is very professional and responsible. He came on time. He did a great job to clean our solar panels. His price is reasonable and affordable. We will definitely ask him to clean our solar panels next time.

TheBlueGentleman Bullard

Deshawn was very knowledgeable of what he had to do to solve our problem. He and his crew started bright and early the day of the job. They had to clean off the mess for hours but took care of our house and the pigeon problem in one morning. Everything sparkled after they were done too. Very recommended.

Vikram Singh

Heard pigeons on roof. Saw PJs nearly all 5 star rating. It’s roosting season now and no more pigeons. They just sit on a light pole and stare at the house.

How do I know this is a great value? Pigeons have tried since installation to nest in OTHER parts of the house (easily fixed) meaning PJ gave me the most coverage for the best value. Proof is in the lack of pigeon poop and nests. Extra clean roof, and my panels were spotless 👍

Juliana Porter

PJ is the best, I didn't know too much about solar and he made sure I knew what the process was going to look like before getting panels installed. He's been very communicative and helpful throughout the process and I couldn't have found a better business to work with. They have perfect reviews for a reason!!

Mike Ciccione

I had PJ out to clean and bird proof my solar panels.
I had a terrible experience with birds nesting under my solar panels and making a mess all over my roof and yard.
PJ gave me a very reasonable estimate with clear details about his process.
The final product was exceptional.
I was not able to get up onto the roof to see the work but he showed me pictures and videos of before and after product.
I have had my solar panels cleaned before but never as well and detailed.

I highly recommend PJ and look forward to calling him out again.

Moi Cousin

Very satisfied with PJ's service with my solar panels..Very professional and straight forward. will schedule solar cleaning again in the future..Definitely recommending PJ Solar cleaning for you solar cleaning needs/services 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Patrick Pitre

They did a great job cleaning my solar panels. I have 50 panels (more than usual) but they warned me in advance of the cost, and still gave a great price.

Arturo Alfaro

I had an amazing experience with this company. The customer service was outstanding, and was exactly what I was looking for.

Stephany Poseley (RedYourBroker)

JP was honest and transparent about everything pertaining to my solar. He is very responsive and gets what you need done as fast as he can. We had our solar panels cleaned and needed to have him do the netting because we had a lot of birds underneath. Lots of poop, so gross! It’s really a shame that the amount of money that we pay to get solar installed, and the other solar companies don’t offer to put netting up to help with the bird problem. JP’s prices are affordable! We will be having our solar cleaned every year from here on out.
Thank you JP

Brian Morris

PJ solar came through again in the clutch. Cleaned our panels without issues. Customer since 2020. Happy holidays to your team and fam.

The best Solar cleaners I’ve ever seen. They are polite, fast, and the results are way better then if you clean them yourself. They also have bird proofing, they use really good material so I’m sure no bird is breaking through that

Allan Mader

Upfront, honest and very detailed estimate. When work was done showed me photos and video of the finished product! I found PJ Solar through a friend recommendation and I would definitely recommend them myself! They cleaned my panels and did the bird proofing. I will call them again to clean my panels for sure!!

PJ and his crew do an excellent job. People don't realize how important is to keep their panels clean. The before and after pictures make it obvious. I highly recommend the bird proofing and the annual cleaning.

Jillian Guarnett

I absolutely recommend PJSolar, they were on top of it, we bought a house that had been vacant for 6 months and the pigeons took over, multiple nests, poop everywhere and they took care of it all! Bird proofed all the panels, cleaned them and put spikes up all over to hopefully prevent them from coming back.

Two nice young men came on time and finished the job in a timely manner.

Harry G.

I had a morning time window of 06:00-09:00 for the Solar panel cleaning service. No one showed up, no phone call to update me to any delays today for the service.

After seeing all the positive feedback for their work, I’m disappointed to say the least. I think I at least deserved a phone call!!!!

Tanner B.

PJ responded immediately to my request and answered all of my questions. He was able to send a two person crew over within a few days even with it being so incredibly hot and busy. The two cleaners were very professional and efficient explaining all the steps they were implementing. i love that the run off water was filtered so it was clean and the before and after pictures proved to me how important it was to have it done. i am hoping to have at least a 20% increase in my proficiency!

Brent C.

They did a great job, polite, professional, on time, and quick. All around great experience

Kristine C.

So happy we had bird cages installed around all our solar panels and spikes all over our roof. Our newly renovated yard was being destroyed by the pigeons. It's only been a couple of days since we had the service but we already are noticing the difference with our yard. We went from getting blasted everyday to clean sidewalks around the house. PJ Solar was able to book me quickly once deciding to move forward with the service and we couldn't be more happier with our decision. Appreciate the fact that they show you a before and after video to see for yourself! Thank you Deshawn and Mack Daddy!!!! Most affordable and reliable service we found!!! Thank you!

They also took their time and were very careful up on the roof and they were willing to help me out with my Apple Pay app for a speedy payment. All in all it was a great experience. This solar cleaning and bird nesting control company is next to none. Very informative and explained the entire process. The free estimate was also nice to have. My panels were cleaned well and the focus was pigeon barriers custom installed following the contour of the tile roof. Call them at the first sign of nesting birds, I felt I was well ahead of the game only seeing a couple birds but there were some I couldn’t see. PJs crew made sure cleanup was completed properly and left safe for my family and pets. Keep those birds out of your solar investment to nest in your neighbors roof and solar panel nest haven instead :). Thanks again for your hard work. Look forward to next scheduled cleaning.

Attention solar installers GET this amazing entrepreneur on your install rotations as well. Also share your previous installs with this company to custom fit a solution to bird poop and nesting damages. This can protect your customers investment and keep your installs looking amazing. Pigeon alley we are looking at you. Pigeon Poop free solar panels for all!

PJ Solar came out and did an initial estimate. Deshawn took a video of the condition of the solar panels and explained clearly what needed to be done to clean and get rid of the pigeons that were nesting below. They showed up on time and did a pretty good job. They even installed bird spikes. There was an extra cost for installing the spikes but I didn’t mind because pigeons were all over my roof.

Chris Smith

I got my new solar in and immediately can hear rodent or birds walking under it. I research for someone with good review and price.
PJ Solar Cleaning & Bird Proofing ended up to be the company to try.
And I highly recommend this company. A lot of companies over charge and ask for weeks to come in saying that they are backed up making covid excuses.
Not PJ.
We didn’t have to wait for weeks or over pay.
The work was more than what was expected.
Very tidy and perfect.

The young men that own this company do excellent work. Their level of professionalism is outstanding and it gives me peace of mind knowing that my solar system will run at it's highest efficiency because of how well they clean the panels. And the guards around the system prevent squirrels, rodents and birds from damaging the wires or building nests under them. Great job! I even put flyers in mailboxes of all of my neighbors, just in case they also needed someone who did great work!

I was out of patience in dealing with the birds being pests on my roof and solar panels. I am fairly new to the area and learning the ebbs and flows of the house its surrounding environment. I observed lots of birds pitter pattering up on the roof and panels. With that fights became common, often feathers, dead birds or fallen eggs from their nesting would appearing around my home was a weekly occurrence. He did work for a neighbor across my way and I collected his information. I called him and he provided a thorough estimate with breakdown of material, labor and approximate time via email prior to me confirming wanting his services. He arrived on time with his crew and promised before and after photos and videos of the work. I am very happy to report the area around the home is free of bird nuisance. The wire mesh around the panels deters unwanted visitors off my roof. Also, the panels when I saw the after photos I saw the reflection of the sky! I will definitely do my 6 month cleaning to have a healthy home that produces sufficient power through my panels!

I got the referral from post I sawnon Nextdoor. PJ took some before and after photos and video so I could actually see the work done. I had never gotten them cleaned in the past 5 years. Some may argue that getting them cleaned doesn't improve performance, but it also doesn't make it worse. I had to go to work so they were able to do the work while I was gone. They accepted digital payments which is a plus since I don't carry cash on me.

Pj and Derek were truly amazing.. When you purchase solar panels the companies fail to warn you of the pigeon hazards.. After 2 years we had to do something..

This was amazing deal and I took the opportunity especially with the discounts he gave. Thanks PJ solar and Deshawn for your great customer service!!! I totally recommend them

JAY David

Licensed, Bonded, and Professional. The first time they came over, they explained whole process and the reason for cleaning. As soon as the cleaning was finished my solar app showed a significant jump in power production. I averaged it put over the last 7 months and the cleaning fee was absorbed by the increase in power buyback. So yeah highly recommended! You won't find a better deal either.

Lydia Garcia

I contact PJ's company and asked for information on pigeon guards. He took the time to explain what he can do to take care of the annoying pigeons problem and said they are looking for a place to nest underneath the solar panels. He came 2 days later to install guards at a reasonable price and haven't seen or heard any pigeons since. Thank U PJ for an Awesome Job!

PJ was great! He fit me in within a few days of my initial inquiry. Also, he brings with him a water deionizing resin cylinder. Deionized water dissolves dirt better and eliminates the need for detergents, which can leave residue. (I am a chemist, so I know this stuff.). I saw an instant increase in energy production. See the photos for before and after pictures. I recommend PJ!

He supplied pictures of before and after, communicated with me for future needs since we have a huge pigeon problem and is very experienced and knowledgeable about bird proofing, he has supplied references and has lived up to the great reviews!

Robert S.

He did a very nice job, hopefully the ash in the air won't stick to the panels.

Alex G.

Great work. Responded quickly. Had professional equipment to get the job done right.

Robert H.

PJ took the time to explain everything his company was doing and the condition of the system. He also explained the issue with birds using the panels to build nests and explained a trouble shooting solution. We will be using them for bird proofing as well as maintaining our panel cleaning. Great work!

Michele B.

PJ & his guys were great! Very prompt communication and professional! Highly recommend them for your solar cleaning needs!

Peter V.

They did a great job.

Steve B.

Wow…great service, prompt arrival (and they were even early), and perfect work. I was really pleased and will hire them again!

Also, I’ve been tracking my solar generation each hour today and, since yesterday when my panels were filthy, having *clean* panels has seen additional production of over 4 kWh since they left five hours ago.

As my kids teasingly say, “Dad...clean panels are happy panels.”

Virginia B.

We were very happy. Guys that came we’re very professional and courteous my panels are sparkling

William Y.

This business was across the street attending to my neighbors solar panels. They graciously came over to my house to look at my panels. Agreed to come back a few days later. They showed up on time and completed the job quickly because the area around my panels weren't that bad. They installed wired mesh around the panels to keep the birds out and cleaned them. Very pleased with their professionalism and work ethic. Price quoted was reasonable for the job. Will definitely call again if needed.

June S.

PJ showed up earlier than the expected time, which was a good thing. Very knowledgeable about the solar panels. Fast and neat, he before and after pictures. I’m very impressed, it’s been 2 yrs. since I got my solar and they never been cleaned. Thank you PJ, see you in six months.

Paul L.

Friendly individual and knowledgeable about his work. Came out and assessed the situation. Gave a detailed plan of what he was going to do. Answered my questions without hesitation. Gave me a fair estimate on the work to be done and a limited warranty. Was punctual and completed the work within the time specified. Cleaned up after themselves and an outstanding work on cleaning and bird proofing the solar panels. Will using him for my future cleanings.

Jake A.

We had pigeons nesting under our solar panels and it was driving us nuts. This company came out promptly and completely cleaned the poop off of our roof and cleaned the surrounding areas of our yard. They were able to wrap our solar panels with a mesh that can not be seen from the street. But more importantly they took pictures and video to show and explain exactly what they did. They even came back by later in the month to make sure the pigeons wouldn't be able to stay. ( Pigeons will try to stay for a few days or weeks afterward trying to find a way to access under the panels. ) Top notch service and great craftsmanship.

Cheryl T.

We are very pleased with the services at PJ solar panel cleaning. I had been putting off getting it done as I was not sure who to call. I searched for the service on Google and his business popped up. After reading his site and viewing his work posted, i felt he was the right choice. Nice website too. All the business was transacted by phone as I was away on appointments. He sent before, during and after pictures of the job. I will definitely use this business again for their prompt professional service in the future.

I saw PJ Solar Cleaning on a FB AD, I messaged them asking for prices so I could start wrapping my head around how I could fix our issue. We had a HUGE pigeon problem and them living under our panels! I was afraid it was going to cost me a fortune. Deshawn sent a guy out the same day to do an estimate and to look to see how bad the problem was. We had three nests under there and the pigeons were making them selves at home pulling the fencing off. I got the estimate the same day. He said the could fix it just two days later! Deshawn sent me before and after videos and they were amazing! I can’t believe how quickly they worked and how great my panels look! I 100% recommended Deshawn and his company and I couldn’t be happier on the services received! Thank you again!!

PJ Solar Cleaning website has a "Request for Quote" option. This is how I cam to meet and utilize PJ Solar Cleaning and Birdproofing for our Solar System in Southern California.Deshawn and I talked on phone numerous times ahead of requesting his service to our solar system. He provided an e-mailed "Bird Proofing & Pigeon Abatement Estimate". I should have paid attention to the subject of the e-mail. My goof. I had not utilized the link on website to fill out a "Request for Quote", just used the web site to obtain phone number for contact. Except for subject e-mail, all contact was via telephone.Deshawn's crew arrived on time and was on the roof quickly. Deshawn had to run to Home Depot for some items that they did not bring. The clean-up of roof went well, as did Bird Proofing. They cleaned and sanitized the roof, walls, and ground that had Pigeon droppings. As they were getting ready to head to our daughter's house to do same to her solar system, on our referral, Deshawn and I got into a discussion about the total price. This was when I was informed that the figure I had been given which is what I had made decision to hire on, was only an estimate. My total was actually close to 25% higher, do to unforeseen obstacles. One of which was the spacing between rows of panels, which would allow pigeons to get under panels between rows. This required additional mesh to cover the gap. I was expected to pay for a 100 foot roll of mesh when less than a quarter would be used on my roof. After much discussion we reached an agreement an we paid that firure. They left to go do daughter's solar system. I was later asked to bring my stapler to daughter's to be used by Deshawn to apply some mesh to an eave nesting entry point. They changed their minds after I had arrived with stapler. It was at this time that I found out the PJ Solar offers referral fees. The next day we had a real downpour, and I noticed water pouring off patio roof. Between downpours, I climbed a ladder to find that patio gutter and downspout were clogged with pigeon poop. I called Deshawn and we arraged for them to return to clean gutter and downspout on Mar 28, almost 2 weeks out.No followup call, and a no-show for the clean out. No referral fee to date.I had to clean gutter and downspout myself. I will not recommend this business to any friends in the future.

Andrew G.

PJ solar cleaning did an excellent job to eliminate my problems with pigeons nesting. Cleaned up all the pigeon droppings and the nests put up a barrier around the panels to keep the pigions from nesting and also cleaned my panels

We saw and immediate difference in the amount of power we were accumulating. Thank you so much PJs for your quick and efficient work. PJ did exactly what he said he would do, on time, professional and with quality. My power production increased by 20% with cleaner solar panels. The price is well worth it. I will recoup the cost in energy production in just one s summer day of sunshine. I would highly recommend PJ and his crew to anyone.

Solar companies don’t really tell you about issues that may arise years into your solar system. Pigeons started to make a home and cause a mess. I called PJ Solar and within a few days, I had all the info to make a decision. PJ Solar was quick, responsive and very thorough on pricing. Their pricing was legit, broken down and fair. PJ Solar was setting up a date and since I was gonna have family over, they rearranged their calls and knocked me out the very next day. Also provided in-depth before and after video. Definitely recommend PJ Solar for your cleaning and proofing needs.

I called PJ Solar and within a few days, I had all the info to make a decision. Deshawn from PJ Solar was quick, responsive and very thorough on pricing. Their pricing was legit, broken down and fair. I sourced parts and pricing and PJ Solar was by far less than all others. They took care of all 20 panels and the entire roof top peak with bird spikes. Deshawn was setting up a date and since I was gonna have family over, they rearranged their calls and knocked me out the very next day. Also provided in-depth before and after video. I see why he gets the best reviews out there! PJ was professional, knowledgeable all around fantastic human! He sent me before and after pictures/videos of the clean up and the new screening going around the panels. Today was the first morning I wasn’t woken up by pigeons on my roof!!! I would 100% recommend him to family/friends!!

I've been using PJ Solar Cleaning for a few years now, ever since I found out solar panels needed to be cleaned regularly. I was also frequently recommended to bird-proof my solar panels. I didn't see a need for it at the time, but later regretted it. I called PJ Solar and they immediately solved my 10+ pigeon problem. Being able to drive to work everyday in a clean car was also an extra perk.

Excellent work and better than fair price. PJ and his Crew worked steadily throughout the day and only stopped when they were done. My roof and solar panels look 💯 % better ! PJ installed metal screening around my panels and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the pigeons getting frustrated trying to get under the panels 😂 Panels without screening isn’t nothing but a pigeon coop !

Fast and great service. Would like to recommend PJSC. Exceptional customer service.

Ms. Shae Tolbert

PJSC changed my life for the better. I went solar just 2 years ago but was never told that I needed to bird proof my panels or wash and maintain them. Unfortunately, it took 2 years before I realized I had no other option it needed to be done immediately as I suffered many sleepless days/nights due to all the ruckus the birds kept up and my panels were a mess with dirt, nest and many dead birds under them. They bird proofed my panels with good quality materials (that won't wear out easily like the netting most companies use), discarded all the bird debris and waste, washed and sanitized my roof and left my panels sparkling clean like the day they were installed, and they were very thorough and professional. Thanks you PJSC, you have a customer for life.

I texted company owner and scheduled an estimate for installation of a bird mesh and cleaning of 23 solar panels. After inspection, I was shown a videotape of the bird infestation on my roof. I received other offers from other companies but decided on PJ solar cleaning. This morning Deshawn and his crew arrived and started working on my roof. After seeing his before and after videos, deciding on this company was not a mistake. They were very professional and very eager to work. Not only did they clean my roof, but they also cleaned my patio and all the bird waste on my patio, backyard and even my neighbors yard. I highly recommend this company for all your solar cleaning problems.

Deshawn and his amazing team went above and beyond to provide high-quality service for our family home. They were punctual and only use the best products to complete their client's jobs. I recommend them 100% and it's almost time to call them out again as our solar panels are dirty again and need to TLC. I am one very happy customer and appreciate this amazing small business.

Great to work with will be using them going forward they did great work at a great price

I was referred to PJ solar cleaning from a local Facebook group. I contacted the company and heard back within a few minutes. Deshawn came out the next day to give me a free estimate. Every other company has only asked me to send my address so they can guess based off of the google maps photo. I appreciate that he took the time to come out and look at my panels and did a full assessment. After taking video of my rooftop, he told me he would email me an estimate with a breakdown. His estimate was detailed and showed me where every charge was applied. I appreciated his transparency with this! I had received a couple of other estimates and he beat their prices! He also offers law enforcement and military discounts! He was able to come out two days later to clean my solar panels, clean out the birds from underneath, and add in a guard around the edges. His crew got to work and took care of everything. I thought it was great that he took an after video in order to show that everything was thoroughly cleaned and I could see the great job he did with everything!I highly recommend this company! Deshawn is a stand up guy who works hard and makes sure his customers are happy!

Dan B.

I was referred to these guys by my neighbor. I saw he had mesh around his solar panels and needed the number because I had a pigeon problem too. They came out, were very professional, gave me a quote and were able to clean out the birds, install the mesh and clean the panels in less than three hours. Great local company. Finally, they will give you $100 if you refer clients.

Jenifer B.

Our neighbors had their solar cleaned and secure from birds recently and we immediately noticed the extra residents moving in on our roof. So, we gave them a call and within the week, we not only had the quote, but our system was also cleaned and secured. The birds are gone and so is all of their mess! They were very professional and efficient. Will definitely be recommending to EVERYONE!

Chris L.

So I dont know what these other people are saying but these guys are GOOD. They came here, quoted us, cleaned that f***ing pidgeon sh**, and made it impossible for those ba*****s to come back. Then they cleaned up the mess. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Rudy S.

Awesome job done. Was very personable. Was right on time and did quick and professional work. Will definitely use them again.

Roberta T.

My solar panels are beautifully cleaned.

Robert G.

Arrived late and not prepared. Didn't bring proper hoses. Cleaning seems to be okay. When he was done the hoses were not rolled up and put away. When he was done he said that he forgot to tell me that there was an extra charge of $25.00 for the panels at ground level. The kid needs to learn customer service if he wants to have repeat customers. I paid him cash and he told me he would send me a receipt. Still have not received receipt.

Shik Z.

Deshawn showed up on time and did a fantastic and professional job. My panels were FILTHY and he made them look brand new! And now they are more efficient! I'd hire him again in a few months when it's time to clean the panels again!

They called me for an 11:30 appt and asked to come early. They arrived at 8:30 am. I had more panels than I thought and was charged a very small additional fee to clean them. I plan to set up a 2x a year contract with them.

We have had a pigeon problem since moving into our home with several failed attempts. PJ Solar Panel Cleaning & Bird Proofing exceeded our expectations, definitely recommend. Work well done for a great value!

Devon O.

Great job...would hire again.

Lance B.

My first experience was having my solar panels cleaned, which I gotta say were extremely dirty! Not only did PJ do a top notch job cleaning them, he also pointed out some issues with the panels themselves. This I greatly appreciated and did not expect!

My next appointment was to have him bird proof another property. Again he hit the ball out of the park by going above and beyond with not only the bird proofing, but also cleaning and sanitizing the roof as well!

Thomas D.

We found the best. Deshawn from PJ Solar Cleaning was reliable, dependable, polite, professional and very qualified with his special brush. We had not cleaned our panels for three years and it took extra time. They look AMAZING and are now they back to full efficiency. Even though it's a three hour drive for him he did not try to charge us more. But I happily paid a little more and will keep him as our regular panel specialist.

James O.

Cleaned my solar panels, was very responsive to any questions I had . Would definitely go back and have him clean them again.

Looking for a dependable and honest Solar Cleaner/Mesh installer Shawn @ P.J. Solar Cleaning should be your first and only call. Very quick response to messages gives you an estimate based on your needs won’t try to sell you anything extra his prices are very reasonable. I had issue with birds nesting and pooping all around my house. Shawn came and cleaned and sanitized the panels and also installed mesh covering the entire panel so that the birds could never get in again. He also Guarantees is work . Thank you again Shawn I now can allow my nephew to play in the back yard again without worrying about him picking up bird feathers or poop.

Great communication and follow through. PJ is a real pro!

Working with Shawn was a very pleasurable experience. This was my first time using his service and everything was excellent!! He spent time talking to me and explaining the work he was doing. Seeing a before/after photo was great. He also pointed out the need for tree trimming for maximum use of panels. I was very impressed by his knowledge and commitment to providing excellent service. Look forward to working with him for a long time. GOOD WORK👍👍

Deshawn showed at the exact appointed time did the work in a timely manner and had no unexpected changes to the estimate. I value that from anyone doing work at my house I don’t like deviation from the pre estimate. Thanks PJ’s for doing a great job! Steve Orr.

We had a horrible pigeon problem under and around our solar panels, and the result was disgusting pigeon poop on the roof, feathers, and unhatched eggs splattered on the patio. Birds were nesting under the panels and creating a nuisance and extremely hazardous condition. It was a mess! PJ Solar Panel Cleaning and Bird Proofing came in and solved our problem. We are very pleased with the results and intend to tell all our friends who have solar about this service. We already have 1 friend we referred who hired them as a result of our referral.

I have 53 solar panels and my house roof very high. PJ did an excellent job. He is very Professional His work completed on time as promised. He cleaned up completely after he is done. Provided complete pictures comparing before and after his work is done. Highly recommended.

My husband decided to do business with this business against my reservations I had regarding the sales pitch of the guy representingthe business. The guy did not do the cleaning as promised and left my home with the messy droppings he removed from my solar panels on the ground & did not returned as promised to clean up the mess.He did exactly as I told my husband he probably would do - an incomplete job of cleaning with all that fast talking and no results to back up his performance. Needs to be more professional & take pride in his business!

Thanks to PJ Solar Panel Cleaning, I am now informed about the cleaning of the panel technology as well as reducing potential harmful pollution and deposit build up by bird proofing my system. I highly recommend these guys to all !

Wonderful job done! The panels were dusty and had layers on them. It took a couple of going over them to get them bright and shiny and clean. We will be doing the 6 month maintenance getting this done twice a week. Highly recommend

Denise K.

The panels look amazing and they are staying very clean, unlike when I tried to clean them myself. Additionally, I enjoyed the positivity and professionalism of the team. Good business, good people.

Absolutely amazing!! Very polite, excited to help, positive, follows up when he says he will, excellent customer service, understanding, reasonable prices, explains what he is doing and how it all works! Defiantly worth saving me several hours trying to clean my solar panels myself, and possibly damaging them with harsh Barstow water! The panels looked brand new once they were done.

PJ's Solar Cleaning was very reliable, friendly and professional. We were happy with the cleaning of our panels and will use them again.

Karon O.

They were very professional and friendly. They made my panels look like new again. They had to go over them 5 times to get that rain haze and dirt off since we habe never had them cleaned in 5 years. But this will be something we will have done every year.

Matt R.

Deshawn from PJ Solar Cleaning came out and cleaned my panels today and did a AWESOME job! My panels are a year old and after the recent fires in Anaheim Hills My panels were covered with ash. He is super nice, very professional, competitively priced and best of all he showed up EARLY for my appointment!! I know who I will be calling every time I need my panels cleaned!!! You should too!
